Echoes

Women's AM Bible Study: Echoes of the Reformation

November 1st - December 6th, 2017

$13.50

Challenge spiritual complacency by recapturing the essential convictions and truths that emerged from the Reformation.

A Bible study by Brandon D. Smith with Trevin Wax, Kevin DeYoung, and Al Mohler

It has been five hundred years since Martin Luther wrote his 95 Theses that served as the catalyst for the Protestant Reformation. This Bible study examines the five core truths that came from the Reformation. These five solas, like the Reformation itself, are intensely practical. They were the DNA of the Reformation and are still the DNA of the church today. We stand on the shoulders of Christians in the past, and knowing where we came from will help us keep moving forward with passion and biblical clarity.

Retreat2018

dwell: women's retreat 2018

February 9th - February 11th, 2018

$50 - $217

We are busy women, nurturing families, growing careers, and embracing the retirement years. Our daily lives consist of caring for others and planning for what lies ahead. It becomes all too easy to lose sight of where God has placed us now and discern HIS WILL in THIS moment.

Trust in the Lord, and do good; dwell in the land and befriend faithfulness. Psalm 37:3

Join us as we dwell in friendship, love, and His grace. Walk with us through Psalm 37 as we learn to feel the freedom to do the thing right in front of us…to fully enter into the "land" God has entrusted to us. Our weekend together offers a relaxing balance of rest, study, prayer, food, shopping and laughter.

We are excited to study alongside our guest speaker, Colleen D. Searcy, this year. Colleen was recommended to us personally by Jen Wilkin. In the early years of ministry, God kindled within Colleen a deep affection for studying and teaching the scriptures. She deeply desires to see women anchor their hope in the God of the Bible as they purposefully pursue Him through the study of His Word. She teaches Bible study weekly at The Village Church in the Dallas, Texas area and speaks at women’s retreats and conferences throughout the year.

Colleen and her husband Wes have served in churches together in Florida, Colorado, and Texas for the past 20 years. Wes is president of Next Worldwide, a mission organization that mobilizes high school and college students to plant churches around the world. Colleen loves being the mom of her two teenage boys, Sam and Tate.

This is the 13th year of the SRPC women's retreat. We will be returning to the Holiday Inn & Suites Williamsburg- Historic Gateway again this year. 2 nights rooming, breakfast each morning, lunch on Saturday and session materials are included in your registration fee.

Due to the popularity of our speaker we are expecting higher attendance, capacity this year is limited. Register early to secure your spot. We will maintain a waitlist as needed.

There is a $50 non-refundable deposit due at time of registration. Remaining balance is due no later than Jan 15, 2018.
